MARCH NEWS

All class students who missed practice on Tuesday, February 23, due to the tornado warning, should schedule a make up at the front desk.

No holidays this month.  Egg Hunt Week (our favorite time at the gym) takes place from March 21-25.  Students hunt for a candy filled egg at the end of practice.

Team gymnasts, excel levels and 7-10, have their State Championships on March 18-20 in Tuscaloosa.  There will be no practice for team members on the following Monday, March 21.  The optional team first have a meet on March 5 at the University of Georgia.

Summer camp registration starts this month, so look out for upcoming flyers.  Coach Alex hopes to add some fencing camps to the lineup.

We have started two new Facebook pages, one for fencing and one for gym.  We will post information related to classes, and also about the sport in general.  Please visit us, and share with your friends. It will be very informative.  Remember to sign up on our website at http://www.PlanetGymnastics.com to receive this newsletter and handouts electronically.

February Results:  In fencing, Natasha qualified as a coach in Atlanta, and Coach Alex upgraded his certification. In gymnastics, our Mardi Gras meet was a big success, thanks to all the parents who helped out.  The team from Scotland had a wonderful experience and did not want to go home!
